A tale of N cones

چکیده
A bstract We study particular families of bad 3d $$ \mathcal{N} N = 4 quiver gauge theories, whose Higgs branches consist many cones. show the role a novel brane configuration in realizing moduli for each distinct cone. Through constructions, magnetic quivers, Hasse diagrams, and Hilbert series computations we intricate structure classical branches. These are both non-normal (since they multiple cones) non-reduced (due to presence nilpotent operators chiral ring). Applying principle inversion branch conjecture quantum Coulomb diagrams. have several most singular loci, corresponding cones branch. propose diagrams full spaces our theories. The quivers can be taken 5d effective theories living on webs. Their infinite coupling which also Some these decorated remain elusive.

A Farey tale for N = 4 dyons
We study exponentially suppressed contributions to the degeneracies of extremal black holes. Within Sen’s quantum entropy function framework and focusing on extremal black holes with an intermediate AdS3 region, we identify an infinite family of semi-classical AdS2 geometries which can contribute effects of order exp(S0/c), where S0 is the Bekenstein-Hawking-Wald entropy and c is an integer gre...
متن کاملAn Architectural Tale of the Two Cities
A comparative study of the corresponding styles of Western and Iranian modern architecture has hardly ever been carried out in detail. This paper aims to sketch out an outline for such an investigation and to present a summary of empirical evidence accompanied by field observations to elaborate the ongoing trend of relationship between architectural styles in Iran and that of the West. This is ...
متن کاملA Universal Investigation of $n$-representations of $n$-quivers
noindent We have two goals in this paper. First, we investigate and construct cofree coalgebras over $n$-representations of quivers, limits and colimits of $n$-representations of quivers, and limits and colimits of coalgebras in the monoidal categories of $n$-representations of quivers. Second, for any given quivers $mathit{Q}_1$,$mathit{Q}_2$,..., $mathit{Q}_n$, we construct a new quiver $math...
متن کاملA Comparative Study of Plato’s Allegory of the Cave and Suhrawardī’s Tale of the Western Exile
An important allegory throughout the history of philosophy is Plato’s allegory of the cave. There are remarkable similarities between this allegory and an allegory from Islamic philosophy—that of western exile (al-ghurba al-gharbiyya) proposed by Suhrawardī. This paper seeks to consider fundamental components and issues within the two allegories, including the issue of the soul as the ...
